Welcome back to my blog Seikoma, after a long time not active sorry hehe. Here session, I will use English ya. I join Kampus Merdeka friends, before I join Kampus Merdeka "Program Holistik Pembinaan dan Pemberdayaan Desa (PHP2D)". After this, I join Kampus Merdeka "Bangkit Academy".

Here, I will sharing my experience join in Bangkit Academy Participant 2022 Kampus Merdeka!

Hello, I am Elisa Nur Yuliantika Ardani, undergraduate student in Mathematics Departement, Sebelas Maret University. Here, I will share my experience join in Bangkit Academy 2022!

What is Bangkit Academy?

Bangkit Academy is program of “Studi Independen Bersertifikat (SIB)” as part from Kampus Merdeka with 6 months (900 learning hours). Bangkit Academy program Ied by Google and delivered with support from industry expert colaboration with Gojek, Tokopedia, and Traveloka. Bangkit Academy is program preparation career with technology learning path : Mobile Development, Cloud Computing, and Machine Learning. I have target to join Kampus Merdeka year 2022. I plan this, early 2021. I don’t know what the program what I join. Finally, I am choose register in Bangkit Academy from Kampus Merdeka program. I choose Bangkit Academy, because I get motivate from Kak Hanif, person who join in Bangkit Academy 2021, and Sasa my friend who join in Bangkit too. This program is free with many benefit in career!. I believe that Bangkit Academy is good place for career development and preparation with technology. Now, everything has use technology in era of digitalization. Young generation like me must aware to develop skills followed current development. I am glad selected in Bangkit Academy 2022 Participant as Cloud Computing Learning Path! In Bangkit Academy, use English is mandatory so you can learn English more. Before I don’t believe, I can selected in Bangkit Academy program. If we don’t try, we don’t know failure or not. I am glad have opportunity to learn cloud computing in Bangkit Academy.

In the opening Bangkit Academy, I get many motivated experienced person who join in Bangkit Academy 2021 like Kak Lino Verlin, Kak Cendekia Luthfieta Nazalia, and many more. Welcome speech by Mrs. Muriel Makarim, Head of Brand Marketing, Google Indonesia talk about digital talents who are ready to have big impact for Indonesia through Bangkit Academy. Many person registered in Bangkit Academy total of 63.000 registrants. I am of one person from 3.100 student participant Bangkit Academy 2022. In Bangkit Academy have opportunity to take the global certification exam from Google and get a job via Bangkit Career Fair. All of these are provided at no charge. Next session, Bapak Prof . Ir. Nizam (Direktur Jenderal Pendidikan Tinggi, Riset, dan Teknologi) talk with Kak Farel dan Kak Syifa outstanding graduates Bangkit Academy 2021 who have inspiring story. Next session, Dora Songco (Bangkit Program Lead, Google) talk with patners Bangkit about Bangkit Academy.

Learning in Dicoding, Coursera and Google Cloud Skills Boost Platform

In Cloud Computing I do the Dicoding, Coursera, and Google Cloud Skill Boost Platform Course. I learn about new software like Visual Studio Code, Postman, etc. First course mandatory Dicoding platform, I build basic web from HTML, CSS, and Javascript. It is my first experience build website. I am learn instruction from the example. I try that and I can build with same output example. I am happy, I can build a basic website and pass submission get certificates. In Coursera platform consist lab from Google Cloud Platform (GCP), quiz, and video relate with cloud. In Cloud Skill Boost Platform consist many lab for practice and consist instruction with GCP.

ILT Soft Skills, English Session, and Guest Speaker Session

Beside doing course platform, activity in Bangkit Academy is ILT Soft Skills and English Session. I am very happy, I can adaptability learn Cloud Computing. I get many benefit from Bangkit Academy 2022 especially career preparation, english language, and Cloud Computing knowledge. I learn soft skill how to good time management, personal branding, critical thinking, adaptability, etc. That motivated me for continue “Bangkit” and try have progress. Guest speaker session featuring speakers from industry and startups who have many experience.

Weekly Consultation and Capstone Project

Weekly consultation is place to sharing and meet a new friends. Doing the course from Bangkit Academy does not mean that it runs always smoothly, sometimes I have trouble. But, I believe to keep trying the best. I want to say thanks to my facilitator Kak Gunawan and my all friends who help me if I I have stuck process in course. Thanks CC-31.

Now, I am glad in stages capstone project. One step closer graduation Bangkit Academy. In capstone project, I meet new friends from cloud computing, machine learning, and mobile development path build a project to solve problem with technology.
